Dr. Deborah van der Meulen

After graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1994, Dr. Debora van der Meulen practised mixed (large and small) animal medicine in mid-western Ontario for a few years, before moving to the Kawartha Lakes area. In 2001 Dr. van der Meulen changed her practice scope exclusively to small animal medicine, and in 2009 she discovered her love for Emergency Medicine. Dr. van der Meulen is excited about bringing her enthusiasm for emergency medicine closer to home at KVEC. She looks forward to helping the people and pets of the Peterborough/Kawartha/Cobourg areas. She resides in the Millbrook area with her husband, 2 cats and her German Shepherd, Rhea.
