Kaitlyn joined the KVEC team in October 2025 after completing her BSc in Marine Biology at the University of New Brunswick. Her passion for helping animals and making a difference in their lives led her to pursue a career in vet med. She will be continuing her education in the Veterinary Technician program at Fleming College starting in Fall 2026. She has an interest in emergency medicine where there is always something new to learn.
Kaitlyn finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of a team that helps pets through critical moments and gets them back home to their families. She also has a particular interest in veterinary ophthalmology and has a soft spot for orange cats.
In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys reading, drinking tea, and spending time with her dog Patrick and her two orange cats, Thomas (pictured here) and Milo
