Ashleigh graduated with honours from the Veterinary Technician program at Georgian College in 2019. Ashleigh started her professional career when she graduated from the Outdoor Adventure and Education program at Fleming College in 2014. She spent the next five years working with various outdoor organizations, including non-profits targeted to helping youth from low-income homes. During these years she worked with sled dogs and dairy cows and quickly realized something she knew from a young age- she loves working with animals! Her veterinary passion lies with emergency medicine, but large animal medicine will always hold a place in her heart.
When Ashleigh is not working nights at KVEC she is home knitting, quilting and drinking tea while snuggling her dog and 2 cats.
