Growing up on a small ex-dairy farm, Sarah’s close bond with animals fueled her passion for the veterinary field. Her lifelong love for animals led her to complete her degree in Veterinary Technology from St Lawrence College. She enjoys mixed animal medicine, particularly large animal and emergency medicine.
She loves working at Kawartha Veterinary Emergency Clinic as the team is so great and practices great medicine and patient care.
Sarah is an active participant in dog sports and competitions and is getting into breeding Chesapeake Bay Retrievers! She has five dogs in total: Rudder, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever; Abba, a Labrador Retriever; and three other Labrador Mixes.
