Shauna

Shauna grew up with a passion for animals & has focused her career on them even from a young age. She started her studies by earning her Veterinary Assistant, Performance Horse Handling & Dog Training Certifications. In 2014 she graduated with honours as an RVT from Seneca College with a focus in Emergency & Canine Reproduction. Shauna joined the KVEC team in 2016 and has considered the clinic like family ever since.  

Outside of work, Shauna specializes in working with the Canadian Breed known as “Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers”. Her award-winning CKC Registered Kennel focuses on training, showing, grooming, & competing with the breed. She has won at multiple National Specialties across North America & is proud to be representing the breed standard.  

Sharing their home, are two Purebred Maine Coons that certainly think they are Duck Tollers. 

Shauna is excited to be part of KVEC as it keeps growing & hopes to further her education on Canine Whelping & Reproduction
